Sewing Workshops and Classes

Sewing ClassesBeehive Sewing is committed to helping you develop and master the sewing skills and techniques you can use to create beautiful things.  Our goal is to help you become capable and confident working on your own or with friends here at the studio.

Generally, our workshops feature demonstrations and time for you to practice a technique on fabric we provide.  We always supply the thread, machines, cutting tools, irons, and workspace.  You’ll also receive a printed reference guide so you can return to the studio and sew on your own schedule.

Our workshops are taught by a team of instructors, each with years of experience and specialized sewing skills. Some are accomplished quilters or apparel designers. Others are known for their home decor items, accessories, or unique approach to textile art.

Remember, we offer flexible scheduling and will happily schedule any of our workshops when YOU want to take them, provided you have three committed participants. Just send a note to workshops [at] beehivesewing.com!

Flexible Scheduling

We offer flexible scheduling with “Workshop Wishes.” What does this mean? If you are interested in one of our workshops but can’t make it on the scheduled date, tell us when you CAN make it! Request a date or suggest a workshop by submitting a Workshop Wish.  What’s more, we are always willing to host any of our workshops on a date you choose if you have three or more committed participants.
